MORE ABOUT THE TERRAIN
We have selected some of the best routes offering a mix of all terrains, but the terrain will be mainly hilly with some 6-8 km climbs, but also a lot of flat-undulating sections.
The start from Trieste is perfect as it mostly flat, then route become hilly with some climbing when we cross the Alps and towards the end of the tour approaching Ljubljana.
The climbs are never hard as the gradient is always around 6-8% and when steeper, generally for short distances.
