    Because we love what we do and we want you to come back again with us. We want to offer you a memorable experience sharing all our knowledge and passion for cycling. We have 20 years of touring Experience and we are cyclists, that’s why you can trust us!
  • WHAT SORT OF WEATHER SHALL I EXPECT ON TOUR?
    The weather depends on the region you are travelling to and the time of the year. Generally we plan our tours in order to offer you the best cycling weather, but sometimes this is out of our control. Major climatic contrasts are highly evident especially on the mountain regions, where it is possible to enjoy the warm sunshine at low altitude and experience even snow within just kilometers, 3000 metres above sea level on the Stelvio! 30 days before your Experience departure you will receive and informative booklet with all the useful information specific for the region you will visit.
  • HOW CAN I BOOK MY EXPERIENCE?
    All tour fees are in Euros and payment can be made using either Paypall, Credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or Bank transfer. To book an experience, a €500 deposit is required. The full balance of the tour cost is due no less than 60 days prior to the start date. If you do not pay your tour in full 90 days prior to the start date of the tour, ONE MORE RIDE reserves the right to cancel your booking and your deposit will be forfeited. If, at the time of booking, there is less than 60 days until the date of tour commencement, full payment is required on booking.

  • CAN I HAVE MY OWN ROOM?
    If you are travelling alone, we will assign you a roommate of the same gender. There is no extra charge if we are unable to find you a roommate. If you are travelling as a couple, please indicate this on booking, so can ensure you have a double-bed. If you would like your own room, there is a single supplement charge of 700€ for the tour.
  • ARE AIRPORT TRANSFERS INCLUDED?
    No, unless specified in the Experience description. Thanks to our strong local connection, we can help organizing any kind of transfer at convenient rate. Just aks! If you arrive on a different day or at a different time, we will be happy to assist you with a private transfer at your own cost. Once you book a tour, we will send you an email with all the useful information for both arrival and departure.

    Sure,We love to have you back on tour! Save 5% on your next Experience if you have travelled with us once before. Save 7% on your next Experience if you have travelled with us two times before. Save 10% on your next Experience if you have travelled with us three times before. But we have more for you: Your 5th Experience will be at 50% discount! Your 10th Experience will be FREE!!
  • CAN I GET A DISCOUNT IF I BRING MORE PEOPLE WITH ME?
    If you recruit some friends or motivate a group to join you on one of our catalogue tours, not only could you be with your best mates on the trip of your lives, but you can also save on the cost of the tour. If you bring 6 or 7 people on tour excluding yourself, you receive a 50% discount. If you bring 8 or 9 people on tour excluding yourself, you receive a 75% discount. If you bring 10 or more people on tour excluding yourself, you go on tour Free!
  • CAN I MAKE ANY TRIP PRIVATE?
    All the trips advertised on our website are open to the general public, though we encourage friends, family members and clubmates to come in groups – it makes the experience even more fun and rewarding. If you want a private trip on your own dates, we will arrange a private Experience for you. This can be on an existing itinerary or to a route that you – or we – create. We usually need five customers on private tours.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL?
    Cancellation and request for refund must be received in writing as soon as possible. ONE MORE RIDE will make no exceptions to our cancellation policy, irrespective of personal or external factors. This includes but is not limited to weather, personal emergencies, having to leave the tour early or arriving on tour late. Consider carefully your level of travel insurance to cover such eventualities. If notice is received 90 days or more prior to tour commencement, tour payments may be transferred to another tour in the same year, subject to availability. The cancellation fee and subsequent refund, if applicable, is calculated on the base tour fee only. Extra costs such as single supplement or any other options are non-refundable. MORE THAN 90 DAYS €50 FOR ADMIN FEE 61-90 DAYS LOSS OF DEPOSIT 31-60 DAYS 50% OF TOUR FEE, you can use 25% to book another Experience in no more than 12 months time. 30 DAYS OR LESS 100% OF TOUR FEE, you can use 25% to book another Experience in no more than 12 months time.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANCEL?
    ONE MORE RIDE reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time prior to departure. We will endeavour to give at least 60 days notice prior to the tour start date. We may be able to offer participation in an alternative tour but if the alternate tour is not acceptable, any payment received will be refunded. In any case refund of any payments received constitutes full settlement. We recommend you take suitable travel insurance in a timely fashion to cover other costs associated with your trip such as flight and railway tickets in the event your tour is cancelled. If you book another tour in no more 12 months time we will give you a 10% discount. ONE MORE RIDE will not assume responsibility for any company or persons who fails to provide services that have been contracted for any of our tours. Should this happen, alternative services will be sought.
  • HOW DOES A TYPICAL GROUP RIDE WORK?
    On each day's ride you will be accompanied by at least one guide on a bike, Garmin GPS route navigation and point-to-point route directions. Generally we try to ride together as a group on the rolling roads and individually on the climbs and descends. You can ride at your own pace, confidently knowing exactly where you are. The guides will advise of re-group points along the route and a support vehicle accompanies the group all the way, offering refreshments, carrying extra kit and providing assistance wherever required. We start and finish together!
  • WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
    A road bike if not renting a bike through us – your shoes and pedals - at least 2 cycling kit for all conditions – casual clothing for warm and cool days.
  • CAN I HIRE A BIKE?
    Our Bikes are super! If you prefer to leave your bike at home, you can rent a high-end bike through us. We will help you with the bike fitting and make sure you are safe, comfortable, and fast! We will send you a bike fit form well before the tour in order to have your bike ready to go when you arrive at start hotel. The cost of the Rental bike is 50 euro per day for the duration of the Experience. Upgrade with carbon Wheelset available at 15 euro per day.   • CAN I BRING MY OWN BIKE?
    Definitely! Some riders feel at one with their machine and it’s great doing a tour on your own bike. Make sure you bring all the very specific spare parts you may need during the tour, as it might be difficult to find them on site.
  • IS THERE A BIKE MECHANIC ON TOUR?
    Yes, one of our guides on tour will be a professional mechanic. We will carry basic spares, and minor repairs and maintenance will be undertaken on the road. Any more serious mechanical issues will be handled at the end of the ride. If you are bringing your own bike, parts and repair costs will be passed on to you.
  • HOW LARGE WILL THE GROUP BE?
    Our groups are limited to 12 riders, so that everybody get the best service from our professional staff. The number depends on the season but it could be from 6 to 12 people. This small number also ensures a safe ride but still allows for group fun afterwards!
  • HOW DIFFICULT ARE THE RIDING EXPERIENCES?
    Our riding experiences are designed for all cyclists ready to ride for min 3 up to 6 hours on a different terrain. Each Experience has a different difficulty level. Some itineraries are easier than others! This is not a race, but also not an easy stroll! It’s not about the speed, but the capability of riding in a small group is required, as well as climbing and descending on hilly-mountains roads. We're happy to talk it over with you if you're unsure. Don’t be shy!
  • HOW MUCH RIDING DO I HAVE TO DO?
    We will encourage you to finish the ride we planned for the day, as we believe you will appreciate this approach. That said, you determine how much you want to ride. You can, on any day, choose to cut a ride short, miss the entire ride day or ask for more!
  • WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT DO YOU OFFER?
    Our rides are fully supported! You will have expert guides and vehicle support the whole way. The guides on tour are at your service from early morning till late at night. We will service your bike, take care of your laundry, transfer your luggage, sweep the course, give you an encouraging word or helpful push, organize massages, the list goes on …
  • HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?
    We recommend booking your trip as early as possible as we only take few people on each Experience. Also, you can take advantage of airline flight specials. Based on availability and hotel accommodation, last-minute bookings may be taken up to a week prior to tour start date.
  • IF I BOOK A TOUR, CAN I BE GUARANTEED THAT IT WILL RUN?"
    We usually need a minimum of 5 people to run our tours. If a trip must be canceled due to low numbers or circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to do so at least 60 days prior to the trip start date. We will recommend an alternative tour or if this is not acceptable a full refund will be issued.
  • DO I NEED A TRAVEL INSURANCE?
    ONE MORE RIDE will not assume responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, accident or damage to persons or their personal effects sustained before, during or after the tour. As this is an active holiday, we strongly recommend you take up comprehensive insurance cover that includes but is not restricted to baggage, health, travel, accident, repatriation and cancellation charges If you are bringing your own bicycle we recommend you check your insurer will cover your bike in all circumstances to a suitable value. Please note the loan Garmin unit, and/or map chip, you will be provided on tour is your responsibility. Any loss or damage to the unit will be charged to you. You will be required to sign a Guest Waiver / Disclaimer before commencing the tour. You will be given the form on the first day of the tour, or you can download from our website, and have it signed and ready to give to your guides on the first day.
  • WHAT TRAVEL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?
    All international travel requires a valid passport for non-Europeans or National ID card if part of EU. You may also need an international motor vehicle license if you intend driving abroad.
  • CAN YOU BOOK EXTRA HOTEL NIGHTS BEFORE OR AFTER THE TOUR?
    Yes, we are happy to book extra nights accommodation for you at our start and finish hotels. We have great relations with our hotels and get good group rates. Note that our rates may not be quite as cheap as you may get using one of the many hotel booking sites, but it certainly saves you the pain of changing room and time!
  • CAN I JOIN THE TOUR LATE OR LEAVE EARLY?
    We understand that life can be busy, and are happy to assist in helping you fit in a well-earned holiday. Let us know the tour you are interested in and your proposed dates, and we'll quickly let you know what the best options are for that tour. We do offer a discounted tour fee for shortened tours, which depends on the tour location and group size.
  • CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A NON-RIDER?
    Non-riders are always welcome, there are activities for non-riders while their partners are out on the morning ride, with the whole group enjoying what's on for the afternoon and evenings. As we change location only once during the tour, they can explore to their heart's content or follow the group in the support vehicle.
  • WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR A NON-RIDER?
    Non-riders are equal members of the group, and enjoy the same hotels, restaurants, activities as riders except for the riding support. Saying that...The price for non-riders has a 15% discount, so come together!
  • WHAT ABOUT FOOD?
    All breakfast, lunches and dinners are included. Food is an important part of European life and our guides' knowledge of the local area and cuisine will mean dinner may not necessarily be at the hotel. Each town has its exceptional restaurants that provide the most delicious regional cooking for you to experience. The guides have an excellent knowledge of the premium regional wines and will be able to guide you through choosing from the superb varieties available, while on tour. Wine and other alcohol with dinner is an additional charge. Guests may choose to contribute to a wine fund, arranged at the start of each tour. The amount will depend on the length of the tour, wine prices of the region and how much is imbibed! If you choose not to join the Wine Kitty, you can buy your own alcoholic drinks each night. You will be responsible for keeping track of the bill and should be prepared to pay in cash each night for the beverages you drink. During each day's ride we provide, depending on the region and availability, fresh fruit, sweet and salted snacks, food supplements and isotonic powders and of course, water. If you have specific needs, please let us know and we will advise whether we can assist or if you should bring your own.
  • I HAVE AN ALLERGY TO FOOD / MEDICINE
    That is no problem. Just let us know the details when booking and we will accommodate your requirements on tour.
  • HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP GUIDES AND OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS?
    Tips are greatly appreciated by the guides. It is entirely at your discretion but guests usually leave between €100 - €200 per guide, on occasion more if guides have gone above and beyond. Typically tips are given at the end of the trip to thank guides for their exceptional service and expertise. There is no need to tip wait staff in the restaurants we go to or other service providers as we will take care of this.
  • HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY SHOULD I BRING?
    That’s a very personal decision. On a daily basis you will need enough spending money for coffee, extra snacks and personal shopping. Alcohol is not included, so you may choose to join our wine kitty and share the wine and drinks we order at dinner. Depending on your style of travel, expect to spend about €20-€50 per day.
  • HOW ABOUT INTERNET AND WIFI?
    All our selected hotels have WiFi services. Access speeds and fees vary from hotel to hotel. Connectivity in some locations such as the mountains can be unreliable. And we have a free wifi service in the van.
